Two pieces of really cool news!!!
First of all... my sister's chemo is working! She had her through round yesterday and the oncologist said her bloodwork is improving, and she feels a lot better!!! There was a 40% chance of it working... so glad to see my family falling on the right side of the odds for a change! This is obviously still very serious, but at a minimum it should give her more time with her kids.
And on a lighter note, I just found out a friend of mine from Hoboken is going to be on Big Brother this season!! He's a heavy metal dude type who based on appearances can be scary, but he's super super nice. He's been obsessed with BB since it started and has tried out a few times. DH just sent me a text that he heard our friend (Adam) made it onto the show...so I just googled the cast and he's there!! He just lost 100 pounds and has a serious girlfiend. Plus he's a bacon eating Jew. So he should add a lot of interesting dynamics!
