What are you doing for this holiday weekend?
YAY It's a 3 day weekend for all of us, I hope! What are your plans?
Today, stock the house with food. Mani and pedi.
Saturday - beach bumming all day with hubby
Sunday - beach bumming all day with hubby, fireworks with friends at night
Monday - BBQ at my uncle's house in Staten Island. Hopefully going in the pool there. I'm also going to try this new dessert recipe to bring. Recipe to follow if it's good. They are layered coconut, chocolate, nutty bars. Yum!
I am SO excited that the weather seems to be cooperating!!! Happy 4th of July everyone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Re: What are you doing for this holiday weekend?
It's the weekend...well...in 8 hours anyway... : )
Well, if my sister's fam gets in early enough today, we will go out to eat tonight at this great local place that has an amazing prime rib buffet. Then out to get fireworks! : )
Tomorrow, the only plans I really have is to make my beer-butt chicken and baked beans.
Sunday - We go eat at the mom 'n pop restaurant that catered my wedding for a late breakfast/early lunch. Then that night we are having our 4th of July feast!!! Ribs, potato salad, cole slaw, and mom is making apple pie!!! So excited!!! We are going to do fireworks that night.
Monday - I am playing in a sand volleyball tournament and, get this, I think Jeff might play on the team with me!!! He has never played, as he plays in a golf tournament here in town every 4th. So I'm so stoked. Then there is all the other stuff in town (kid games at the park and then the pool, bbq, parade, fireworks, street dance, etc). It is the one day a year Blue Hill is actually really fun! I'm so so so excited!
I totally took a sick day from work so I could have a 4 day weekend.
DH and I are going to the Cape for a weekend of fun and relaxation! I CAN'T WAIT!

Long weekend, here we come!
My office closes at Noon today, so I think I'll go in for a quick mani-pedi when I leave the office, and then go home and take care of a little lite housework...
Tomorrow - My Aunt's for our family's annual 4th cookout. Bonus - my GM may be coming up from NC this year, so that would be awesome :-)
Sunday & Monday - nothing concrete yet, but that's alright with me!!
Tonight DH and I are going to a local farmer's market for some fruit and then going to a friends to see her new kittens.
Saturday....cleaning my house, pool time and dinner with my parents, brother and his gf.
Sunday....finishing up cleaning, pool time, fireworks
Monday....I'm having my parents and IL's over for brunch, then...you guessed it, pool time!!

April Nesties March siggy challenge: Next Vacation, Anguilla!!
My weekend starts at 11am (45 minutes!) when I leave work and hit the road to New York. We are driving to my sister's house near Rochester to spend the weekend with her family and my parents should be on their way up there right now.
Tomorrow we are going to Marineland, which looks like the Sea World of Canada, so that should be fun. I don't know what we are doing on Sunday or Monday, but at some point we are getting family photos. Our niece's 3rd birthday is also on Tuesday, so we'll probably have some kind of party for her over the weekend with gifts and cake.
We will probably drive back on Tuesday. So I actually get a 4 1/2 day weekend!
Annnnnnd, we are anxiously awaiting the call from BIL & SIL when they have their new baby, who is due on the 7th. Her doctor told her weeks ago that she probably wouldn't make it past 38 weeks, because the first one was early, and she's almost at her due date. We can't wait to hear when she is here!
Pictures of the cute kittens pleeeeease :-)
April 2010 Siggy Challenge: Next Vacation Destination
Tonight--lay low and do some cleaning in the office since the cable guy is coming first thing in the morning
Saturday--do some major deep cleaning around the apartment, we are supposed to be getting Wi-Fi hooked up in the morning. I also need to run to the mall to find different jewelry for SILs wedding in 2 weeks. Greg may go golfing in the morning if it's not too hot yet
Sunday--probably go to church and just hang out at home since it will be ridiculously hot here, maybe try to find some fireworks
Monday--we are meeting my BFF and her new man at Hard Rock for a late lunch/early dinner then heading over to the Cards Game. We will watch the fireworks from somewhere downtown too.
I hope all you travelling ladies have safe trips, and everyone a good time this weekend!
I'm laying low this weekend, no kids, just working out packing plans and vacuuming my car for our trip leaving a week from today! Should be a nice one for me and DH :-)
April 2010 Siggy Challenge: Next Vacation Destination
6 Hours and counting until the weekend!
Tonight - Packing to go up to Lake George for the weekend
Tomorrow - Mani Pedi in the morning // Graduation Party in the afternoon (their house backs up to the Middle school and high school in town where they shoot off the fireworks, so its the best spot in town because you can lay in the grass and they are right overhead!)
Sunday - Up to my uncles golf course in Lake George
Monday - At the golf course in Lake George, fireworks, bbq's, family, friends. The works!
Tuesday - Leaving at 5:00 AM to head south to be at work for 8:30 AM (I just don't want to miss another day!)
We are headed home to my parents to celebrate my dad's birthday (and of course the 4th). We'll be doing fireworks and a bonfire on Saturday and a get together with relatives on Monday. Should be nice to be around the fam!
Have a safe and fun 4th!
