Speaking of skinny drinks...have either of you tried the skinny margarita at Taco Lu's? I tried it for the first time last night & it's kind of amazing. I copied the ingredients down so I can try it at home.

    I actually haven't been yet. I like margaritas but I get this really bad jaw pain whenever I drink anything with lime in it. It's one of my weird allergy things. It happens with lemon too but not nearly as often. Sadly this deters me from drinking margaritas. Sad

    If I wasn't already buying stuff at the liquor store for a 4th of July martini, I would buy the stuff and make it tonight. It's just tequila, aperol (a blood orange liquor), a cucumber liquor, lime juice and a little agave nectar. Seriously yummy. Not sure of the exact skinniness of it...but it has to be skinnier than the sweet & sour mix crap.

    Can we please please please do a margarita/taco lu GTG in August?! I am dyyyying for a margarita and want to get this baby out so I can eat salsa and drink and not get heartburn!

    Yes! If Madisen asked this (sorry Madisen) ;) I would have to decline since I simply just cannot wait that long. V-dub however is scheduled to make her debut in an acceptable amount of time.

    This is one of my favs. However, right now they have a carne asada royale (just like their regular carne asada, but w/sliced red grapes and brie) & between that & the skinny margarita I was in some serious heaven.
