As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Job search update and a big thanks for all of your advice
I landed a job! I got an offer from a position I liked, but was hoping to get an offer from somewhere else. I called the HR department at the other place I interviewed and recieved a not so nice response, so I decided to go with the offer I got. I managed to talk them up to an agreeable salary, and I'm excited about starting.
I just wanted to thank all of you for giving me lots of advice on the many questions I asked on here. This was my first "real" job search (though I've been out of grad school over a year and had some prior work experience), so I had lots of questions. The search wasn't easy, but I'm glad I was able to find something challenging. Thank you.
