Re: Thankful Thursday
I am thankful for coffee and a DH who understands that I have a ton of work to do right now!
I am also thankful for 3 day weekends! Thursday is the new Friday!
Thankful J is going a little overboard for our anniversary - he's working hard to make the weekend special and to make me feel special since I've been so run down and tired lately.
Thankful vacation is now only 30 days away. It will be nice to spend 2 weeks with my parents & siblings since we won't see them at all before baby is born and once baby is here it will be more challenging for us to drive the 5+ hours to see them.
Thankful my summer class is finally over and I have some free time to work on other things around the house!
Thankful there are only 4 more weeks left in my internship!
I'm thankful that this is the last offical week of training.
I'm also thankful that we will be headed to Martha's Vineyard for our anniversary!! The parents of one of the kids that DH has coached are letting us use their vineyard house and car for the long weekend. Yay!
I'm thankful that we are closing on our new house today! And that means we will finally be getting out of the helll hole we live in now! I can't believe the day is finally here.... when our contract was accepted 62 days to closing seemed forever and a day away. The time seriously flew by!
I am not, however, excited about the actual move of stuff and finishing packing. Can't wait to get the move over and done with!
Thankful DH finally took a job offer, so he can stop asking me my opinion. lol.
Thankful we will be able to begin a new chapter in our lives, i feel it will be for the best.
I am thankful that I finally got myself out of this rut I've been in. I've been so sluggish and down, and I'm finally back to getting things done!
Special fourth of July thanks...I am thankful for my freedom and all of those who defend it!
my read shelf:
I'm thankful for a loooong weekend with DH - he is off until Tuesday!
I'm thankful for having a job lined up for fall.
I'm thankful for a weekend without much going on - for the first time in ages!
I'm thankful that life is sorta back to normal and in the grand scheme of things, we got off pretty easy last week.
I'm thankful that I don't have to teach in the course that I am really weak in next year and that they realized I have enough on my plate with 4 other courses (half of the department teaches in 3 courses, 2 people teach in those 3 plus 2 more, and I am course director for 4 others that no one else teaches in until we hire more people!)
I'm thankful that I like my job & my coworkers!
OH- and I am thankful I saw one of my favorite singer/songwriter etc. (Eddie Vedder) last night... and that he chose one of my newer favs (Glen Hansard- the guy from the movie Once) to open for him and now Glen should have a much bigger following (and he was AWESOME!!)
Yay!! Did he take the one that's out near Hartford?
I am thankful that all of my courses this summer are online, so it allows us to travel.
I am also thankful that we have such great family that are all willing to host us this summer during our trips to CA, OR, and WA.
I am thankful to have 4th of July weekend off work, and to have Tuesday off as well!
I am thankful to get to spend the weekend with family and friends and DH.
I am thankful that in 21 days we find out if we are having a baby boy or girl.
I am thankful that in 24 days we are going to Alaska and celebrating our 1 yr. anniversary!
That is awesome Lauren!!! How nice of them! You will have to let us know how it is, DH and I wanted to plan a trip to Martha's Vineyard and Boston one year but we never did, but it is still somewhere I'd love to visit one day.
I am thankful that our drive to DC from Chicago went well and that it's over (at least until we have to drive back next week)
I am thankful for this vacation!
Yes!! Come to Boston and we can meet up!
Yeah buddy! He'll be working in Hartford but we are looking to like near Enfield.
