I have twins, and I'm having a really hard time getting the stains off of their onsies and bibs. I use either Gain or Tide, and I even have these Tide tablets that is a stain booster - but it doesn't seem to work.
Any suggestions of what I can put in the wash to get the food stains (and other stains) off of their clothes?

Re: Laundry question
If it's formula, you need to rinse it out or pre-treat it right away. If it's old set-in formual stains, you might try barkeeper's friend (seems to be the iron in the formula that makes it stain). An overnight soak in oxy can also work on old set in stains.
Banana is the absolute worst!! Definitely rinse it our right away. It makes a black speckledy stain that looks like mold.
Also, on fresh stains, remember COLD water is your friend. If a stain doesn't come out the first time, don't put it in the dryer, let it air dry or dry in the sun (the sun is a great stain bleacher!) Don't use hot water on anything unless it's already been missed and gone through the dryer and then you can use hot water and oxy.
And absolutely use cold water if you get poop on anything. You can wash it in hot after you rinse it out in cold. Then dry in the sun. Remember poop does not ruin clothes, lots of people use cloth diapers and the poop stains come out of them!
