can't wait for the weekend already! who has plans?
Anyone have plans for the 4th of July weekend? We are going to see fireworks Friday night and then have about three BBQ's to go to this weekend, including one on a boat in CT - hope it's nice out!
I am dying for a break from work, so stressed out! I generally don't have a stressful job but I think my last 2 months before leave will be very hectic :-/
Re: can't wait for the weekend already! who has plans?
We're heading up to DH's aunt and uncle's cottage for the weekend. We leave tomorrow morning and come home Sunday morning. It should be a lot of fun! Their cottage is right on the lake. I haven't really spent too much time with that side of the family, so it will be nice to do.
Sunday is one of my best friend's couples' bridal shower. I haven't seen her since our wedding in November, so it will be a good time.
Then Monday, I think my friend and I are planning on hanging out, which will be very nice.
Sometime during that busy weekend, I plan on going on a 5 or 6 mile run. Maybe Saturday morning.
We're leaving for MA after I get out of work today! I can't wait, it's like a mini vacation and we're already PACKED with things we're planning to do.
Thursday: Dinner with H's cousin and her FI in North Andover
Friday: Shopping in NH (no sales tax) and then dinner and drinks with MIL, BIL, and BIL's GF at the Amesbury Beer Festival. We're spending the night over at BIL's.
Saturday: Breakfast with BIL and GF, then Salisbury Beach for the day and bowling in Woburn with H's friends for the evening.
Sunday: Visiting H's grandparents, then down to Pembroke to visit another friend and have dinner, and then home to CT.
Monday: H is working, so I'm planning on sleeping in and relaxing until he gets out. Then we're going to see fireworks.
Books read in 2012: 21/50
We are headed out of town as well. We are driving down to Omaha, NE for my mothers re-do wedding. She was married 2 years ago Oct. but it wasn't a Catholc Ceremony so she is jumping thru all these hoops to do it and wants the family there. I'm pretending it's just a family reunion because I don't really understand the wedding part but I don't want to offend her so all of us are just going along.
We have a trolley ride, late dinner reception and fireworks on the river afterwards. The next day will be spent catching up with my Brother and his family who I never get to see. Then Monday we'll hop back in the car and dirve 7 hours back so I can work more. At least DH has a few more days off to relax. If I can't I'm sure glad he can.
Somehow in there we will TTC. If you want to be depressed go to you OB/GYN when you are 39 and talk about your chances of conceiving. Bleh. I'm going to have to psych myself up and get more positive based on yesterday's appt. I wish I met DH in my 20s.
Saturday: running errands
... including pick up my bed from my mom's house to put in the nursery, take our broken crib to UPS... clean the house
Sunday: teach Sunday school, possibly go to my friend's for dinner
Monday: sleep in... nothing else planned...
My life is so boring lately
I have a 5 day weekend. I took 1 vacation day, and we have the 4th and 5th off of work. So I'm flying to Ohio.
Friday: One of my cousins is getting married. I'll be getting off the plane and heading to the reception.
Saturday Afternoon: Two of my cousins graduated High School, and they're having a double graduation party. After the party, I'm hoping to go to my favorite restaurant.
Saturday Night: My best friend is throwing a party at her apartment.
Sunday: My uncle is throwing a BBQ, and then possibly going to a baseball game in the evening.
Monday: My parents are throwing a BBQ.
Tuesday: Chillin with my mom, probably going to breakfast, and then leaving for the airport about 1.
Yesterday was my birthday, so last night we had dinner with my folks. (My ILs surprised me by having two dozen roses delivered to me at work!)
Today H has a whole host of stuff planned that I don't know anything about - dinner, drinks, and something else this evening. All I know is I need to get dressed up. Very exciting!
Sunday, H is working, and DS is with my folks all week starting today, so I have the whole day to myself. No idea what I am going to do with myself, but thinking of seeing if I can book a massage and maybe hit a few 4th sales for a little retail therapy.
Monday, H is smoking some ribs and we'll just have a relaxing day together, since we'll both be off. (The fact that he's off all day today and Monday at the same time as me is a rarity!)
