i friended someone by accident. what should i do?
i thought this guy was a guy i used to hang out with (i was going through that page with friend suggestions) but then i realized it was a different dave. i had already added him though. i'm pretty sure we went to high school but i don't think i knew him. i'm trying to remember who he is. what should i do? do i write him and say ignore the friend request or just leave it alone? i feel dumb.

Re: i friended someone by accident. what should i do?
I've accepted friend requests from people that I don't know accidentally. And sent requests to friends of friends that I really don't know. Most people either ignore requests from people they don't know. Or friend them, forget about them, and then delete them after years of realizing they know no one on their friends list.
There's no real FB etiquette. I'm sure he won't really notice.
huh, i don't even check that friend waiting approval thing..(should i be doing that? LOL)....i'm so blase' when it comes to facebook. I'll get a notification that someone approved my friend request & i'm like "Huh...did i do that?" Ya, like months ago...so i don't really notice if people blow me off & don't accept my request...etc.
But i think you're fine, i don't think there's a fb ettiqette. Besides, it doesn't seem like you really knew this person anyway, so they shouldn't be too off put or offended...
