Yesterday I went for my first appointment and there was a heartbeat (107)! We told family and a few close friends but otherwise keeping it secret (no FB posts or pictures for now) until I get through the first trimester OK. After a miscarriage in February I can't tell you how relieved I am to be at this point. I was so scared at first yesterday that I refused to look at the screen until the tech said she could see the heartbeat. Everything is looking good for 6 weeks 3 days. Now I'm actually looking forward to my next appointment in 2 weeks.
