As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

I agree on all of this.
I mean, who else gets to decide when and how much of a raise they get?! Raises for congress (state AND national) should be decided on by the public.
it's easy to decide to "hold your ground" during a shutdown when you're a) overpaid as is and b) arranging to make sure YOU still get paid.
Oops, I don't know how to change my vote to "NO"
I thought it was for their whole term (my answer to that is yes, however there should be a limit, for pete's sake - these people VOLUNTEERED to run in the elections). I didn't see "during the shutdown," I haven't had enough coffee yet.
I agree with everyone else, no way should they get paid. This is ridiculous.
