Mouse droppings.
I found them nowhere near food, but in locations near the foundation.
An exterminator is on the way, but it seems weird to me that they would try to get in during these warm months and not even seek out food. My house is not even very old.
I have a new baby and I'm freaked out.
Re: I don't believe this
That sucks
You should adopt an outdoor kitty... that would clear up any future "visitors!"
Good luck with this... dealing with pests is never any fun.
Luckily, I have an indoor kitty
However, the problem is mostly in the basement, and she is not allowed down there. Even so, it seems to be up high near the foundation, and my chubbykins kitty would never climb....
The good news is that upstairs on the main floor, she's in charge!
I won't start on my saving the mice with humane traps rant, but if kitty is catching mice or mice are around make sure you have her dewormed regularly. You and your baby can get some parasites from the mice and the kitty.
