reccommend your microwave!
Hi ladies! for my bridal shower I recieved a beautiful expensive stainless steel microwave from cuisinart that has died after one year of use!!! Each time i start the microwave it will go for two seconds and then shut down 
. Cuisinart customer service says that in order for them to fix it and/or replace it we need to ship it to their service center and WE need to pay all cost of shipping and handling both to get it THERE and BACK!! (the microwave is huge and heavy). I have ready many reviews of this happening to other people too!
I am thinking it may be time to find a different one that will not die after a year... so please reccommend your microwave for me

What store did you get it from? BBB & Kohl's both have amazing return policies... if it was one of those, maybe you can check with them!
We are using a Sharp microwave that I have had for nearly 11 years now. It's still in great shape and works well, despite two different 3 month stints in storage and being moved 5 times!
We have a crappy $25, 700 watt microwave from Home Depot. You have to run it longer than the directions say for everything - but it runs like a champ. lol Oh and our dinner plates are too big for it because they are square ha ha ha.
Emersons though seem to be a pretty good brand for Microwaves.
