Basement flooded and now smells...help
Monday, one of our basement windows was flooding our basement bedroom (spare room not in use). This proceeded to seep water into the padded carpet in the adjoining family room. We ripped out the carpet and cleaned up the water in the areas with cement flooring. We also ran dehumidifiers for several days. Now the whole basement smells. Any suggestions?

We didn't think it got into the dry wall (no baseboards), but the longer it lasts the more I think that may be the case.
