E is awesome. Seriously.
On Saturday, we went to the Meadowlands Fair, which was really fun until I made him wait 3 hours with me in the stifling heat and humidity, in a sardine-like crowd, getting shoved around and stepped on, for the Cake Boss and his tribute cake (25th Anniversary of the Fair). Totally not worth it. I owe him, which he's reminded me repeatedly.
And I feel kinda broken.
Well, despite the fact that I should be doing things for him & not vice versa, yesterday when he went to Home Depot he got me an awesome new case for my face painting kit, which is now all really clean & organized.
And then while I was doing glitter tats at a country club gig, he made homemade mozzarella cheese, picked some of our basil from our deck, and made this salad for us.
And then he made pretzel rolls for us.
Which he then cut open and put on chicken breast grilled with chives (from our deck), grains of paradise, and a little olive oil, plus melted more of the homemade mozzarella.
So I came home to this awesome dinner. Yay!
