wasn't there a free e-library post?
Something about military having free membership to Philadelphia or something like that? Does anyone remember this, or am I confusing things I've dreamed of with real life again?
Re: wasn't there a free e-library post?
You're not dreaming.
This is the link to the application
http://www.freelibrary.org/registration/Card_Application.pdf
You can mail it or fax it to them. It takes about 5-10 days, but they are on summer hours right now so it might take a bit longer.
Thanks. I actually was on their site and read about being 65+ veterans, but didn't finish the sentence, so I thought it must have been a different library.
You can fill in the app online.

Since it says member of the military, not dependent, I just used H's information. I'll call it a gift for him
You can use it bc you're only getting e-books. DH and I use each other's cards all the time and they never look at the name, unless you owe them money.
