Planned Eating and Exercise for Today
They do this on H&F. I thought it would be good for challengers to stay on track.
B: Visalus shake w/chocolate soy milk
L: Viasalus shake w/chocolate soy milk and berries
Brushetta chicken,green beans, rice
S: Fiber one brownie(dessert), apple w/pb
E: Zumba and walking there if I have time/DH gets home in time.

Pediatrician = Doctor with extensive experience and education on children.
Bumpies = Don't get me started!

B: ViSalus shake mix with orange juice and frozen fruit (mangos, peaches and strawberries).
S: reduced fat mozzarella cheese stick
L: ViSalus shake mix with vanilla almond milk, banana and chocolate flavor mix-ins
S: reduced fat mozzarella cheese stick and 100 calorie butter popcorn
Exercise: I had planned on Zumba, but it starts at 5:15 and there's no way I'll get out of here by 4:45 today
Looks like I have to settle for crunches and push ups at home tonight.
B - Oatmeal w/ raisins, pear
L - I didn't bring so I'm at the mercy of the cafeteria today... probably soup or a salad? ETA: Salad and salsa sun chips!
D - Stuffed pepper, whole wheat roll
Dessert - ice cream sandwich
E - If it's not too hot, a bike ride. If it's as gross as it's supposed to be, probably Zumba for Wii.

I'm totally in...I need to get my butt in gear more!
B-1 egg, Whole wheat toast with butter
L-Mixed Greens salsd with goat cheese, sunflower seeds, cranberries and 1/4 cup steak, balsamic dressing and a peach
D- left over bbq skinless chicken, zucchini and 1/2 baked potato
S-Plum, Whey Protein w/8 oz skim milk, apple
E- If my back is holding up post-chiro appt, 4-5 mile walk with a 28 lb stroller and 25 lb kiddo...
I have a tip if anyone's interested! Oatmeal is super good for you, but I always used to need to sweeten things up with a couple chocolate chips. One of my students told me that she loves hers with shredded coconut and I've been hooked ever since! I also add a few raisins. I eat it almost every day now!
I don't have everything planned for the rest of the day, but I envision:
B: my oatmeal
L: chopped fruit and vanilla fruit dip
S: pasta salad
Add in some shredded carrot too and you've got carrot cake oatmeal!

S1: Banana (I wake up and have a banana to start and eat breakfast after I shower and everything)
B: Bad... but had a pancake breakfast with D... super yummy, my cheat
L: Cchicken salad
S: Half a protein bar, a few almonds or a nectarine
E: 45 minute Cardio workout
B: no sugar added apple sauce cup and 1/4 cup rice cereal
L: turkey sandwich with vegan cheese (a failed experiment in "real" food post surgery)
S: banana sugar free popsicle
E: still not cleared for exercise since I'm still on the surgery meds... they make me dizzy.
I did walk 6 blocks to class though!
