I feel old (ha!)
I am taking a class online this summer because I need a geography course in order to be highly qualified to teach social studies next year. I logged on to Blackboard today (the online site for the class) and we had to post an intro. Everyone else in the class is 19 or 20 and taking the class for a diversity requirement for graduation. I posted my intro saying I completed my undergrad in 2005 and my master's in 2010, I'm married, and I've been teaching for the last 6 years. Yup, I am that girl in the class.
I keep singing the Avenue Q song, "I Wish I Could Go Back to College" in my head. This will be the first class I have taken since graduating that is not full of other teachers, but rather lots of undergrads.

If you're old, I'm right there with you. :P. I took a class in my undergrad that high school kids got to take. It made me feel old then.

I also just realized that they aren't even legally able to drink. Yikes. I will do my best to drink for them this summer...it is my new mission.

I started my MBA when I was 41, and was almost always the oldest in the class. But I enjoyed it.
eeeeva - try the whipped cream vodka with diet orange Crush. It tastes like a dreamsicle ice cream pop. Yummy when it's hot outside.
Um, omg that sounds amazing.
blender, you'll walk through the quad, and think "oh my god, these kids are so much younger than meeeeeeeee"
We'll just not tell H about this little fact, m'kay?
Yum that sounds fantastic! I think that will be in my future.

And I think you should make drinking games associated with your lessons/homework. Drink your way around the world!
(And I'm sorry you have to use Blackboard. For your sake, I hope they've upgraded it greatly.)
