Ten Things Tuesday
1. I'm craving pizza.
2. I think Pizza Hut would really hit the spot right now.
3. I wish DH didn't have to work such funky hours.
4. I also wish that he worked closer to home because of the drive time/mileage/gas money situation.
5. It's only 11:30am and I'm already feeling exhausted.
6. I always remember more interesting things I should have put into "Ten Things Tuesday" AFTER I post.
7. I was "attacked" by a moth-like insect a few nights ago and jumped out of bed screaming.
8. DH was not amused.
9. I think I've developed an addiction to looking for diaper bags, even though I don't need any more.
10. There is a cute chipmunk that lives by our patio that comes out everyday and sits on our fence. We've named him Chip.

Re: Ten Things Tuesday
1. Today is my first day back at work since summer school started today.
2. I'm not actually teaching it; I'm an administrator!
3. I woke up late this morning for the first day back and was stressed beyond belief.
4. The A.C. is malfunctioning here at school today. Thank God I get to go home in 15 minutes.
5. My SIL had her baby this morning. A baby girl named Adelaide Jane.
6. I keep bugging DH to figure out whether we are going to visit her today or tomorrow.
7. He hasn't heard back from his mom yet on whether SIL wants visitors today.
8. DH and I are going out to lunch with DS when I get home from work.
9. I'm thinking we're going to go to Kerby's or a coney island so I can get a greek salad and a grilled chicken pita wrap.
10. I'm patiently waiting to hear back from our realtor since he told us that someone is "possibly" writing an offer for our house.
1) having a baby is harder than anyone ever told me.
2) I lurk more than i post because i dint usually get on till night time.
3) im scared that my lurky-ness might be creepy and i dont mean it to be.
4) Ava turned 3 months old yesterday and we had a nice BBQ with friends.
5) we are having a hard time finding a house in our price range that isnt completely disgusting. I seriously need a shower when i leave some of these houses. i have a hard time believing people live that way. dirty and gross.
6) sometimes i like my cat better than people i know.
7) i should be cleaning the house while the baby naps but instead i am on the computer and watching tv.
8) i am way too into the casey anthony trial. (and it makes me cry everyday)
9) i wish i had friends that lived by me.
10) i ate wayyyyyyy too much yesterday. it was really good!
1. DH is now mudding/sanding the kitchen/bathroom and our house is COVERED in a layer of dust. It's not even worth trying to clean at this point.
2. I got home from the lake last night at 9:15pm and am already counting down the hours until I can go back there Friday after work. I need to get away from our house.
3. I don't want to get weighed at my doctor's appointment on Thursday.
4. We've decided to break our dog's habit of sleeping in our bed. I miss having him cuddle with us, but he seriously was a bed hog.
5. I am very excited for my conference calls to end so I can go and get Cosi for lunch.
6. I desperately need to go grocery shopping, but I am putting it off til tomorrow because I think I can scrounge up one more day of meals.
7. The three people who sit around me at work are all on vacation this week. It is so peaceful at work and I love it.
8. DH thinks we shouldn't be giving our dogs as many treats as we should. I think he is being ridiculous. I lie about giving him treats every morning when I lock him up before I leave.
9. I really don't like many of the baby names DH has suggested. I am dreading the process of picking a name.
10. I need to go to the gym tonight. If I put odds on it, I'd say there's a 50/50 chance I'll actually end up going.
1. I want to move so bad, but DH and I can't agree on our wants in a new house.
2. Plus we need to find something in our area.
3. I am back to work and time is going by so slow.
4. DS started crying when I left for work.
5. DH was frustrated I was not leaving quick enough.
6. He doesn't get it is hard to leave with a crying baby.
7. I still feel awful about it
8. I should be working, but I am wasting time.
9. The new program is crappy

1. All of the outside doors to the building were locked this morning.
2. I had to walk about a quarter of a mile out of my way to find a way into the building.
3. We lost power at work over the weekend for 48 hours.
4. I had purchased 20 boxes of popsicles, fudgsicles, ice cream sandwiches, etc on Thursday for the 'popsicle club'
5. I had to throw away all of those frozen goodnesses
6. Took DS in the big pool over the weekend.
7. Thank God he loved it!!!
8. DH drank too much last night, so I kicked him out of bed for his loud snoring
9. I came up with a date to stop BF/EP
10. I am sad, excited and feeling guilty about this, but I am ready to have my body back.
That was how things were with our dog too! Then one day, after we had the baby (even though he slept in his crib in his own room), our dog just stopped sleeping in bed with us. She started sleeping on the floor on the rug at the foot of our bed. Sometimes in the morning she'll jump in bed and snuggle for a bit, but it's been really nice that she did this on her own.
1. I'm really exhausted after all the painting this last weekend.
2. I am really hoping we'll be able to get all of the nursery furniture completely painted over the next couple days.
3. A lot of #2 is that we're painting the furniture in the garage, and I really want my garage space back.
4. I tried to tape off/paint the trim around the floor yesterday, but couldn't because I couldn't get close enough to the floor without my belly getting in the way.
5. I cannot imagine trying to do what we did this weekend if I was more pg, it was pretty difficult.
6. A co-worker just sold me her barely used ergo. I love getting used baby stuff for cheap!
7. I contacted a daycare over the weekend that I knew wouldn't have any spaces in Jan (they only take 12 kids at a time). Even though I knew it wouldn't work out, when they emailed me back I kinda flipped out thinking that there was no way we were ever going to find a decent daycare that we could afford. Even though I knew I was overreacting I couldn't stop myself.
8. I have a doc appt on Friday morning, and I'm a little nervous to talk to him about a couple things - I don't want to be hooked up to a bunch of monitors or IV's during the whole labor - I'm a little worried that they won't be onboard with that.
9. We ate like crap this weekend. I really need to make some real food tonight.
10. This weekend we're going up north to meet up with MIL/SFIL, BIL & his girlfriend (who no one has met yet). It should be interesting.
I would just like to say that with an adorable baby like that, I would never consider you creepy. Cute babies always decrease the "creepy factor".

1. I gained two pounds up north this weekend. Oops!
2. I think I gave away most of my things to say in the tell us post.
3. I ordered some stuff from Zappos yesterday afternoon and it just arrived! I know they are fast on a normal day, but I didn't know they shiped on July 4th. Way cool!
4. DH's mom's lake house is only about 20 minutes from where I went up north to see my grandparents every summer as a kid. I always get hit with the memories when we go through there. My grandparents are gone, but some of the stuff around there is the same as it was 30 years ago!
5. I think I am going to make jalapeno tequila for jalapeno margaritas in a couple weeks.
6. I met a friend of a friends 4 month old over the weekend. That baby didn't cry the whole day. It sat for hours entertaining himself. I have never seen such a well behaved baby. I asked what they drugged him with, but they weren't fessing up.
7. I am way behind in my work after having 4 days off. I should be doing that and not this.
8. My next three weeks at work will only be 4 days weeks.
9. I never paint my fingernails, but I did last night. It's still surprising me a little everytime I glance at my fingers.
10. Time for lunch after working so hard this morning. Haha!
1. Finding childcare when we don't know DH's work situation come fall is a huge PITA.
2. I don't feel like being at work today.
3. I'm excited to have another ultrasound on Thursday and hoping the babies are doing well.
4. I'm trying to get better about meal planning and cooking dinners during the week, but it's not really enjoyable when I'm eating alone every night because of DH's work schedule.
5. I'm in a crabby mood today and I wish I could just turn it off.
6. People tell me I look tiny but I secretly think they're just saying that to make me feel better since I think I look huge.
7. My FIL is driving us nuts. We're regretting not moving further away when we had the chance....as in, a couple states away.
8. DH's grandma had a weird reaction when I told her we're having two girls. She said, oh that's too bad that it's not one of each. I should be more annoyed or something probably, but she's just an 80-year old woman with no filter.
9. I keep meaning to pick up a Sunday paper for coupons, but I'm still not convinced that it's worth the effort, especially when we don't really buy processed foods.
10. We're still debating on whether or not to get a radon mitigation system. We have the money set aside, but we're just not totally sold on it yet.
We've broken our dog of this habit before -- but then we get too lax. DH gets up an hour before me in the morning so we let the dog in bed then so that he'll continue to sleep. That slowly turned into him getting into the bed earlier and earlier over time....until we eventually let him up when we went to bed. It just takes a couple nights of us being firm with him. We started this weekend because we were at the lake and he was so exhausted that he didn't even try to get in the bed. We're 4 nights in so I'm hoping he'll stick with it now that we're back to the normal routine.
1. I have to leave for a dr apt in 20 mins.
2. Dh usually takes me but today I have to go alone because he couldnt get off of work.
3. Lucas is spending the night at my moms and we are going to the Melting Pot for dessert
4. Even though Lucas is at my moms I keep thinking I hear him waking up from his nap.
5. My brother wants to get an Ering for his gf. He told my mom and she told me, I'm not sure he wants anyone to really know and he wants it to be a suprise. Our mom was the wrong person to tell LOL I think shes excited.
6. Currently I want to name this baby Violet Marian, Marian after my mom. I havent brought it up to dh yet. But he likes Violet so he might be on board.
7. We were going to use Rose as a middle name, which is my moms middle name, but Violet Rose woud be ridiculous.
8. I went to the Salvation Army again to try to luck out finding more furniture.
9. I saw they sell underware. It kind of made me a little bit sad.
10. It makes me want to purge some things we dont use/need.
Mommy's little helper
1. I'm off work today!
2. the IL's were in town this weekend, I figured I would need a day off after the holiday weekend.
3. DH is out of town for the week :-(
4. I just harvested green beans, lettuce and one cherry tomato out of my garden this morning!
5. I have asparagus, potatoes, green onions and tomatoes from the farmers market this weekend and I need to figure out what to do with them!
6. Anyone have any suggestions?
7. There were at least 5 houses shooting off fireworks this weekend, within the immediate vicinity of my house.
8. It was really cool to be able to see fireworks from every angle in our front yard!
9. DH's best friend is visiting with his wife and 8 month old this weekend. They live in Alaska and we haven't seen their baby yet!
10. We are finally going to host a housewarming party in a few weeks!
Serendipity3, South Beach, Miami, FL 2012
1. I'm also craving pizza. I blame mardoll. I gchatted DH and told him we will now have pizza for dinner.
2. I hope we can get Papa Johns. I adore Papa Johns.
3. We spent the weekend up in Port Austin and it was really relaxing, I enjoyed just spending time on the lake with DH.
4. I am working mornings this week instead of afternoons, and I could really get used to this schedule.
5. I'm eating leftover pasta salad for lunch. It is so yummy!
6. I'm looking forward to the downtown Plymouth art fair this weekend. It's one of my favorite summer events!
7. I've been eating freeze-pops every night. I feel like a kid again.
8. Once again, Ten Things Tuesday is taking me a really long time.
9. This work day is going pretty fast, and I can't wait to get home and see my puppy - it's her first birthday today! lol
10. Daisy was the joke of the beach this weekend. Because of her allergies, her leg was all wrapped up and she had a cone on her head. And because of this, she didn't get to swim in the lake

1. I am really hating my job today.
2. I am eating shrimp scampi for lunch right now. So yum.
3. Yesterday was a really great day and I so needed it. We were outside all day and Ellie was so happy.
4. I want to go back to school to finish my degree.
5. I'm thinking of switching to Generations OBGYN.
6. I wish someone would plan a cheap wknd in Macinaw for me. I can't bring myself to do the research.
7. I'm really struggling at finding time to do anything at all non BR these days. My house is a mess and I haven't made a meal in a very long time
8. I really suck at shaving my legs and am giving up. I will now pay someone else to wax me.
9. I CANNOT wait until Ellie and any further kids are old enough so that we can take a family vacay to Disney. I am a child.
10. I really want to plan a surprise 30th bday party for H (10/1) but am struggling with a place to hold everyone at a decent price.
10 Years Later
1. I didn't sleep well at all last night. I am very frustrated.
2. No one is here today.
3. I wish I were off today.
4. I'm avoiding an uncomfortable conversation with my boss.
5. My friend put off signing up for the Warrior Dash. I didn't want to sign up til she did so I didn't get stuck doing it alone. At the time, the only day was Sunday either early or late. She didn't want to do it late due to the heat. Well, she continued to put it off, and now the only slots available are late. She sent me an email at work asking me to sign her, her DH, and myself up...that's $150. Ok...sure. IDK why she didn't do it herself. I'm not signing anyone up now that we've waited so long & she doesn't want to go that late. Frustrated.
6. I tried to run yesterday. I could only do 1/2 mile because I couldn't breathe. Too much alcohol this weekend.
7. I'm not very motivated to lose the weight I want to lose.
8. Alcohol doesn't help #7, and it's been every freakin' weekend lately.
9. I wish we had a boat.
10. I would like to be on that boat right now.
1. Ive been home from my Bermuda cruise for a week and desperately want to go again.
2. Mainly because I miss having someone pick up after me, make my bed, make my meals....
3. However, I gained 5 pounds on that stupid cruise!
4. We had both mine and DH's family over on Sunday for a BBQ and everyone ganged up together and started askign when they were going to get a grandbaby/niece/nephew.
5. DH and I have been trying for a baby for several months now without any luck.
6. My treadmill at home has become a dust collector and I cant find the motivation to start using it.
7. DH leaves on Thursday for a 5 day trip to Washington DC with his buddies to visit a friend of theirs.
8. I hate behing home alone, our house is too big and feels too empty.
9. Im going to the zoo on Sunday with my MIL, SFIL, and their neice and nephew.
10. I only work three days this week. I hope it goes by quickly.
1. I'm back at work today.
2. Instead of feeling refreshed after the holiday weekend, I feel burnt out.
3. The FI got to stay home today.
4. He asked this morning if I wanted to go to lunch today, and said to call him.
5. I called him twice, and he didn't answer.
6. I am annoyed and worried about #5.
7. The Casey Anthony verdict is going to be read at 2:15.
8. My whole office is probably going to watch #7.
9. This Casey Anthony thing reminds me of the OJ Simpson trial (as in the public interest).
10. After only 10 hours of deliberations after a month long case, I can't imagine that the jury isn't going to convict her of something. She disgusts me.
1. We went to the new house on the 4th to check out the festivities. We cleaned/unloaded all morning and relaxed all afternoon.
2. I?m a little freaked out that we won?t be totally packed and ready to go for the movers on Friday. Sometimes I think we?re doing good but then when I look at all of the little things and at the whole house panic wants to set it.
3. This panic isn?t enough to make me try to stay up late and do anything about it.
4. We took next week off to unpack and enjoy the new house a little bit. I can?t wait!
5. I?m hoping that we can put more time and energy into baby stuff starting next week now that there?s a roof over our heads.
6. Our little dog doesn?t do well with other dogs and it?s looking like that could be a problem on our street. There are lots of dogs and they all roam around without fences.
7. Now I am that neighbor with the crazy dog. I hate being that person. It sounds like he?s vicious and crazy. He?s only 15 lbs.
8. Meanwhile our big dog just sits there and watches like the little dog is crazy.
9. Someone got us a very significant gift certificate for a very pricey store for our wedding. We still haven?t used it. It would buy like one thing from this store and we might still have to kick in some of our own money. I wish it was for Home Goods or something. I?d love to blow that money on house decorating stuff!
10. I?m only working three days this week. The countdown is ON!
P.S. This is the fastest I?ve ever completed 10 things or not totally struggled to get through it. There must be a lot going on right now!
1. I am on vacation this week, but have worked an hour or so almost every day of said vacation.
2. I'm not too sad about #1 because I'm visiting ILs and work gives me an excuse to not socialize with them.
3. MIL drives me up a wall the way she interacts with DD. It's not awful, but she's always comparing DD to how DH was when he was a baby and trying to figure out which one of us DD looks like and what color her eyes are going to be, and analyzing everything she does, etc. And the high pitched voice she uses w/DD is so f*in annoying. Ok, I'll stop now.
4. We're going to a Brewers game tonight
5. DD is completely enthralled by the cartoon she's watching now and it makes me happy that she's being quiet.
6. I don't like traveling with DD because we don't have all her stuff with us, it's just easier to stay home.
7. We're going to Traverse City on Friday to see one of my best friends and I cannot wait!
8. I had a s'more sundae last night and it was delicious.
9. I want a new point and shoot camera
10. I will need a vacation after getting home from this vacation.
1. When driving in to work this morning, I felt like I was the only person who had to work - there was no one on the road!
2. Therefore I am protesting and am not being very productive.
3. The Casey Anthony verdict is being read in about 20 minutes so that will take care of my productivity levels for the rest of the day.
4. DH and I drove by the new house last night (we were in the area) and it looks as if the neighbors have a trampline on what will be our property. Interesting how this was not there when we were going through for the showings.
5. I cannot wait for Big Brother to start this week!
6. Supposedly there are couples from past seasons and I will boycot if it's Rachel and Brendon. I refuse to watch another season of whiney "BA-REN-DON!"
7. Ditto if it's Jessie.
8. It's been almost a year since we adopted our cat, Bella and I'm amazed at how much she's added to our little family.
9. Especially since I was not a cat person before Bella.
10. I still do not have a new e-mail address at work and it's been 3 weeks since I requested it. You cannot tell me it takes 3 weeks to create a new e-mail address. Our IT sucks.
1. I had to go dairy free due to LO's milk allergy for 5 days and it was really difficult since I love my cheese, etc.
2. The orange sky just recently really creeped me out.
3. LO's bday is June, DH is July and mine is August so I think next we will try for a September baby but not till 2012.
4. I know little about buying a home so I think it would be good to educate myself.
5. I went to a bbq/pool party in Plymouth this weekend and the house was in the country off a dirt road and I loved it.
6. I love the store Ikea.
7. Can't wait for Teen Mom tonight
8. I prefer using a laptop over a desktop.
9. This 90 degree weather has been a little too hot for me.
10. I love the new Mexican restaurant at Partridge Creek "Rojo"
