If you haven't checked this out yet, you must. This is by far the most poignant election-related story I've read. It's about the White House butler, a black man, and weaves a brilliant tale about the black visitors to the white house and the stain of racism on this country. And read to the end, it's worth it.

I will read it. I love human stories, especially with how it relates to history. If it is half as good as the story of the gentleman that works at the Capitol who began as a sweeper and now a Capitol Hill staffer, I will be happy.
