Re: Tirade Tuesday!

  • Gee thanks car battery for crapping out. Oh, and double thanks to DH's car for lighting up like a christmas tree with indicators. We really appreciate you both giving us problems at the same time.

ETA: I'd also like to *** about all the time and money I spent cleaning out rollers and buying new ones. The lady at home depot told me on Friday that you can just wrap them in a plastic bag and they won't dry up so you can just take them out when you're ready to use that color again. No need to wash or buy new ones. WTF? How did I not know this?

One more. I am so sore from yardwork on Sunday that I'm dreading anything I try to get done after work today. I really want to paint but I don't see that happening. I get that I haven't been working out lately, but this is just plain ridiculous.

  • See my post above. Pain in my arse!

Oh, and WTF body? I get that you're still getting over having a baby, but hot dog! I'd like to at least know when to expect to start AF! I literally have no clue!

I didn't know this either! Awesome! And much better than getting the 2nd bath torn up every day when DH decides to "clean" the rollers.

  • DH had an earache yesterday and of course refused to go to the Doctor, so we didn't do anything for the holiday. I was not happy.

Ants keep finding their way into my kitchen even though DH caulked everywhere and I am keeping that place effing spotless. If I see one more ant in my house I'm going to flip out.

Glad to hear it from someone else. I'm seriously REALLY annoyed that I didn't know this. I spent a lot of time cleaning those stupid rollers and of course money on buying new ones since they don't really come clean all that well. Angry

  • We have a serious ant problem in our back yard. Bug Out has been to our house twice now to treat it. They are coming out again today. If this does not work they better refund our $100.

  • It won't help with ants in the yard, but for ants in your kitchen, Pants, you might want to chekc out the ortho home defense max stuff. spray the edges of your windows and doors. Keep the pups away till it dries (I spray it before bed and keep C in the bedroom that night just to be on the safe side), and then it's pet safe. It is supposed to work outside too (spray the perimeter of the house and the windows), but I've only used it indoors.

  • What kind of ants are they? We got the tiny sugar ants last year (a TON of them) and we got this thing that worked wonders.

ITA agree with the Ortho Home Defense Max. It's awesome.

I hate pretty much everything today. I'm a ray of sunshine, I know.

  • I'm so effing pissed at an assignment that I'm having to resubmit for the second time. The prof. has been helpful and there's tons of info on how to do the assignment, but I'm just not getting it. Im just going to have to go over all the info again and try to figure out where its not computing with me. So I have an effing Incomplete in the grade book until I can get it right. I'm glad she's letting me resubmit so many times. A this rate I'll never graduate, which is starting to look like a viable option. Not really, but truly hate school with a passion. Sad

We already sprayed with the Ortho inside and out and they are still here. I'll check this out, thanks for the tips!

These work really well. I also use the Ortho stuff outside and it works. I think my neighborhood was built on a giant ant bed, we get ants like crazy.
