ditto. without being able to prove how she died it seemed like a difficult case. but then her lawyer seemed to change his story so much I thought there was a chance. I guess not.
This and the state kind of sunk it's case for me with the whole "smell" evidence. When you open a can with nothing but a smell, it's kind of like grasping at straws to me. You have to have something a little more tangible than an empty can.
ETA: I totally think she's guilty! I just think there was a lot of circumstantial evidence.
What will Nancy grace talked about now?
As much as I am hurt that this little girl will not get justice for the way she was brutally taken from the world, I have to believe in our justice system. There have been too many cases of innocent people being sent to jail. I'd rather see a guilty person walk than the other way around.
The person/ people who did this will get their just dues in the end.
yep.. she can't be tried for her murder again though..
