those familiar with area around Hwy 6 & Bellaire **updated**
I'm arranging to meet a person from Craigslist to get a stroller. They want to meet in the parking lot of the police station by McDonald's around there....anyone know which station they're talking about? What is its closest intersection? And of course lemme know if I shouldn't meet there!
I'm in Clear Lake, so I've never been around that area.
ETA: Judging from no posts, I'm guessing the above description doesn't sound familiar to anyone? So new approach: what's a good location for me to meet her around Hwy 6 & Bellaire? Thanks again.

I live at Hwy 6 and Bisonnette. The area at Hwy 6 and Bellaire can be kind of shady. There is a strip center police station tucked back in the shopping center, but there's no way I'd meet anyone back there. I don't think it's manned all of the time, although I believe there are police cars there all the time. The setup is there is a row of fast food restaurants in front of a half abandoned strip mall.
If you're going to meet her in that area I would meet in the parking lot of CFA. It's more out in the open and there are almost ALWAYS police cars there (as in they're eating, not working a crime scene or anything). It can be a PITA to turn left out of there though, just FYI.
Exactly! I've been trying to use Google maps too, and I'm so confused. I suggested the station on Dairy Ashford & she didn't know where that one was.
I had initially planned to go alone, hence my suggesting a police station..but it's getting annoying texting back & forth. I guess I could ask her to name a place & just take DH with me.
There's a McDonalds there. It's between the CFA and the Taco Bell that show up when I did a quick Google Maps search.
I like your suggestion but does CFA=Chickfila?
