Anyone else read about the state park proposal?

Re: Anyone else read about the state park proposal?

  • I assume you are against this?

  • Yup. I think I would be okay if it were low or no-impact camping sites. I don't want to get into any kind of debate, I just wanted to post something non-CA related. :P
  • Oh, I don't want to debate. I don't really have an opinion on it.

I didn't read the whole article, but I did read that someone said H.M.I is to small.. which I agree. They would have to destroy a lot of the park in order to put in all the crap that would have to go in.

  • Yeah. We go there because it is so quiet and secluded. If they do this it'll be no better than CLW beach. :|
  • I agree with you. I hate the idea of this. I truly hope this does not pass!

  • I like camping and I like parks but I don't think all parks are for camping.  It's nice sometimes to just be able to hike in Florida's natural beauty and not have to stumble onto a campsite.
