I am looking to pick a few things up for Milo & would love recommendations. I prefer made in america or western europe or made of organic/ sustainable even wood materials. But would go for something great made elsewhere if i thought he would love it.
Re: Moms, toys for 6 mo+
I know these aren't sustainable but the kid LOVES balls and has been playing with them since he was at least 6 months. We got him playground balls in different sizes and I got a few at Five Below because they have little soft spikes on them and he liked the textures. He loved to roll them back and forth at first and then he started crawling after them. Now he runs around with them and loves to throw them.
He also liked things that made noise. You could probably do wood keys. He also still loves to stack wood blocks and knock them down on a hard floor to hear the crash.
Maybe some musical stuff like this:

"Wearing his BING CROSBY clothes and crooning...buuuh buuh buuuh"
How could I forget this? This has been his favorite thing since 6 months (and he's still playing with it). Totally worth every penny and it's not at all ugly in your living room:

I was at this toy show called Amuse Toys in Baltimore, MD and they had a ton of stuff like what you're looking for. If it were me, I'd look to see what brands they carry and start looking for stuff in those product lines on Amazon or something like that. I'm sure there's got to be a place in this vicinity that carries the same products too! It's all I could come up with.
