XP from Buying a Home - Cleared to Close!
My dad just called - we're clear to close! We are trying to set the date for this Friday - the bank doesn't like Friday closings for some reason, but our lawyers are trying to persuade them to do it anyway. We have Monday and Tuesday as backups. I have class 8:30-5 that week, so I would have to miss some in order to close on the house which I would rather not do, but hey, if I have to, I have to! I am so relieved. DH had to resign on Friday in order to start his new job in two weeks, and I swear, I thought this whole thing would fall through. I'm so relieved
