Casey Anthony verdict...

I hate, hate, hate that she wasn't at least convicted of manslaughter.  IMO, poor Caylee's life was disrespected and disregarded by this verdict.  I wish I hadn't even watched...

Re: Casey Anthony verdict...

  • i thought they'd get her on child endangerment.

    this is very sad.

  • DISGUSTED. and she probably won't serve any time for her minor charges. maybe house arrest.

Hello. I've waited here for you. Everlong<3<br>
  • The case against her was not strong. It is a so sad. I do think going for the Man 1 charge made the other lesser charges harder to convict on as well. When you are listening and searching for premeditation in the testimony I think you tend to listen to more of the facts and sift through them more carefully.

  • So sad. What makes it worse is looking at my daughter who is the same age as Caylee and wondering how someone could do that to a poor innocent child.

  • That was an epic fail on the part of the prosecutor to push so hard on premeditation that the jury failed to even convict on manslaughter.  Such a shame.

  • she's already served 3 years so she could conceivably walk on Thursday for time already served.....makes me want to vomit.
  • One of my friends on FB said that she hopes there is justice in a jail cell if ya catch the drift.

I'm disgusted by it.  I don't understand how anyone can harm their own child (any child for that matter).

  • I kind of hope the next guy she meets at a party is someone who is disgusted by the trial, and eye for an eye.....

LIke Jenn said she will most likely walk on Thursday because she had served 3 years already.

I hope the jury and Casey have something bad happen to them soon.

  • total agree with the PPs. I get that they found her not guilty b/c the prosecution screwed up.  But justice was def not served for that little girl.

  • I, too, am disgusted - especially because they were 100% certain she was (is) a liar and they convicted her of that -- yet they didn't think she was guilty of any other crimes.

However... if they didn't all believe without a shadow of a doubt... then they had to say not guilty. That doesn't even neccesarrily  mean they think shes innocent... its just the way our system works - if there were any holes, they can't say guilty...

I am willing to bet that jurors (some at least) do think she's guilty in some way.

I agree, the prosecution did a shitt.y job but the jury did their job correctly (unfortunately)
