Hey, sorry I just saw this. Things are going okay. BFing isn't working out, the LC said that her mouth is too small, so I've been EPing, but I'm not producing enough, so I've had to supplement with formula. This has been really hard on me because I'm supposed to give her what she needs and can't. I know formula isn't the devil, but I really wanted to BF for at least a little while.

Other than that, I'm in love Big Smile

Do you have a Le Leche League in your area? They would be someone to contact. My friend is the LLL where I use to live and I was calling her more than anything when it came to BFing. I hope it all works out!

I had a LC at the hospital who told me this and I also had two phone conversations with a different LC describing what was happening and she said the same thing. idk, they said to keep practicing with her and as she gets bigger her mouth will get bigger and it will work, but after getting a bottle 8 times a day, she has no interest. As soon as I put her up to my boob, she screams and screams and then I cry so we are both sitting there crying (lol).

I do that too, then I think about me doing while I'm doing it, and I cry more. It's only happened twice, but it's still no fun.

Have you tried fenugreek, or anything, to help with your supply? And any amount of breastmilk she can get is great, no matter the way that she gets it. You're doing a great job momma!

this breaks my heart just hearing you say this! I hope that she will learn to love your boobs!

Aww Jen I'm so sorry. I understand how you feel though, I went through it until I gave up on BFing because I wasn't producing enough milk.
