Swagbucks for Amazon giftcards
There was a post or two about how expensive ebooks have gotten lately and I just wanted to share how I pay for the majority of mine. I use Swagbucks- it's a search engine that I have downloaded in my tool bar and I get rewarded for searching. You accumulate "Bucks" that can be cashed in for all sorts of prizes/gift cards. I usually earn about $25 in Amazon gift cards each month which I buy ebooks with. (They offer Barnes & Noble gift cards too.)
There are other ways to earn too, like daily polls, survey and daily deals. Groupon, Eversave and I think a few other "deal" sites partner with Swagbucks and you can actually get points for going through them to get your Groupon.
I have a referral link:
I don't want anyone to think I'm trying to spam the board though with my link. Just from my frustrations with the price of Kindle books and recent post about it I wanted to share with everyone how to get some of the cost down.
I think I've posted this before, but I also have a few lendable Kindle books if anyone is interested in trading! Maybe we can start a post with a list of all the books people have that are lendable?
