Crib to toddler bed...conversion kit?
Okay, I have a puzzle for you. When we bought G's nursery furniture, we knew we wanted a convertible crib and matching dresser to be his furniture for the long run. Stupidly, we waited to get the toddler conversion rail until now and, of course, it's been discontinued.
There is a chance the Paramus store has it and DH is going to stop there tomorrow but, if not, here is my question:
Are there universal toddler rail conversions kits available? Or, do you think we should just match up measurements from a similar crib/kit by the same company and see if that will work?
Any ideas or advice?

Re: Crib to toddler bed...conversion kit?
Ideas: Have you searched the internet for anyone selling one?
Have you tried calling the company and asking if they have a similar one like you mentioned?
Have you searched the internet for anyone selling one? Not yet.
Have you tried calling the company and asking if they have a similar one like you mentioned? We have their info but, their customer service is rated terribly (Sorelle)so we're trying to find it elsewhwere first.
Thanks!

Is it just the side rail you need? If so you should be able to get a rail from any of the stores. If not once you try all the venues to get the one from the company if one is not available. I would just buy a toddler bed or go to a big boy bed. I would not try to make something else work.
Im sure you can find tons for sale online. Try Amazon.
FWIW, I tried universal bed rails for Drew's crib as a toddler and they did not work. The crib mattress was not heavy enough to hold them down.

We just don't have the space for the full bed in his current room. *sigh* Reason #11,998,452 that we need to find a house NOW!
