Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

My office FAIL.
I have a temp who irritates me every day. It's to the point that just hearing her voice makes me cringe. Well, she's kind of loud and I could hear her babbling about steam rooms and sauna's to another co-worker. So i send this IM to the girl who sits across from me.
"Why on earth is Dana talking about steam rooms and sauna's? Ugh, just hearing her voice irritates the crap out of me."
Except I didn't send it to the girl across the aisle from me. I sent it to the temp!!!!!! 
Thankfully she was standing away from her desk, so I made it look like I needed to see something in the spreadsheet she had open, and I closed the IM before she had a chance to read it. OMG. Now I'm going to triple check before I send an IM.....

She sent me back a very politically correct email letting me know she was sorry she hurt my feelings and it wasn't a requirement for anyone to make a contribution. Luckily I don't work directly with her... however, this time last year she did call my boss and tell him I discussed something with her and my boss came down pretty hard on me for it... when I had never discussed it with her, so I wonder if she carried any animosity?? I mean I think you all know my weird work environment... I try not to let "things" get to me. But it was a stupid mistake and I triple check every email I send now.
