On the edge of my seat...

Just minutes away from the Casey Anthony verdict....being from the Orlando area, and just down there recently while the trial was on TV non-stop at friends and relatives homes....I am anxious to see the result....

Re: On the edge of my seat...

  • Not what I expected for sure......but glad it is over.

  • I cannot believe she got away with murdering her innocent child.

She must be very happy for herself. Because god knows she doesn't feel a smidge of remorse for what she has done.

    I am so pissed off!

  • I haven't been following the trial all that closely, but my heart just breaks for that poor little girl.  I suspect the 824 versions of Casey's story made it impossible to convict her, which is just maddening.  I thought for sure when they came back so quickly it was because they found her guilty.

    It's a shame they can't sterilize her.

I agree-- and I wish there was some way to prevent people from profiting from tragedies such as this (inability to publish/ sell story rights/ etc). I think that makes me even more disgusted than the actual verdict most of the time.

  • There is no doubt that she will rot in hell.

Agreed. But I'm really surprised that she wasn't found guilty of at least the aggravated child abuse charge. I mean, c'mon, she's found guilty of lying to the policy....she obviously lied to hide something!!

  • My new theory is that if they had dropped the "aggravated" from the charges, they'd have found her guilty.
