  • What exactly is a brazillian blowout? And is it truly healthy for your hair??

This is probably just for a regular round brush blowout right?

I think Brazilian blowout are too expensive/time consuming to be given away for free.

Summer, I hear different things about the Brazilian blowout. I hear that it is supposed to relax/soften your hair ( not necessarily straighten it), and that the chemicals are not really good for your hair, but I heard the alternative of getting a Keratin treatment, which is supposed to do the same thing, is better for your hair.

Bobbieleigh will know--she gets them regularly.

  • Oh so it's not a brazillian?

I don't know. I'm so hesitant to do something like that to my hair anyway. Maybe because I've always been blessed with good texture, I don't want to mess with it.

  • Doesn't Renee get them? Her hair is so pretty.

  • This is just standard brush blowout, not Brazillian.

As for what it is - I have no idea but both Renee and BL have nice hair. :)

  • No, I don't get them. I just blow dry with a round brush and flat iron the fuzzies. Thank you though!

BL said she gets them regularly.  Her hair doesn't look damaged at all. Hopefully she'll chime in here.

  • Also, please note that I'm pretty sure this deal is with a level 1 sylist - or whatever they are called.  So, it's not with the most experienced stylist.  Just fyi...

True, but since they aren't actually cutting your hair I would think that would be okay.

  • I'm going. At 6. I haven't washed my hair in 2 days so it's perfect. It's only a shampoo and style. They're promoting their volume products. They can't really hurt your hair.

Oh I didn't even notice that it didn't include a haircut.

Heck no. I wouldn't let some random people cut my hair. I'm not that trusting when it comes to my hair. Hahaha.

  • Regarding the brazillians they are not bad for your hair I am going on my 4th one and I now heat style my hair more than I ever have and its not damaged at all.  I actually find I love my hair texture much more after the brazillian.  The big controversy around them is the formaldahyde they may contain however they just came out with a new one called zero which doesnt have any.  I am getting that one done in two weeks.
  • I wish I had waited till today!! I got my hair cut and highlights done yeaterday!!
