Vacation plans for this summer
Hi Ladies- Any grand vacation plans for this summer?
Re: Vacation plans for this summer
No vacation plans this summer for us (we did go to St.Thomas & St. John in May). We plan on using our miles to head to the Caribbean in October/November though.
What about you??

My Dad wanted the whole family to go on vacation for his birthday- who am I to oppose that! We leave on Monday for a week in Turks and Caicos. It should be fun albeit a bit stressful with the whole gang! I am really excited about spending some quality time with my little niece. She is so much fun to go to the beach with!
Does the HM count? Oh wait, that's come and gone, meh.
We spent two weeks at the Sandals Emerald Bay (there's a review in my bio, if anyone's interested) so for the rest of the summer we're planning on staying local, Six Flags, Hudson River Park, theatre shows etc...
Turks and Caicos sounds dreamy!
I LOVE LOVE LOVE T&C! You're gonna love it, Jenn...totally jealous!
Where are you staying? I've been twice. The 1st time we stayed at Club Med (I was like 24, so it was a blast...too old for that now lol) and the 2nd time we stayed at Sands...which was very nice and quiet...loved it.
We are going to Disney World next month! lol Are you surprised? =/ Actually, we are going down to Orlando for the birth of my brother's 1st born (his wife is due at the end of August) and will be renting a house with my 'rents, sis and her family for a week. We are hoping to take DD to the Magic Kingdom for her 1st trip there. Looking forward to it! Haven't seen my bro since the end of Dec. (when DD was born).
Nothing planned here. We don't really have the budget for it.
I really want to get home to NM to see my family for about a week (or longer) before school starts. But i don't consider that a 'vacation'.

Grand vacation plans? What are those? LOL!!!
No, nothing grand.
I've been last-minute about every travel plan I've made this year. I'm flying by the seat of my pants this summer. I want to visit my sister and cute nephew in WA. I want to play with my college friends and her LO's at the beach (CT). I also have a couple of weddings and that sort of thing out of town. But, other than that, I want to enjoy some time in the city and get my chill on.
I do have some work things to do: teach myself how to use a computer program that I want to use, read some books, organize stuff.
Also have some decorating and apt stuff: new desk, new mattress, cleaning out my closet, finally getting around to putting up artwork that's been sitting around for a long time.
I'm bouncing between my parent's house in Florida for R&R and NYC for OB visits. The AC and pool here have done wonders for my pregnancy!
The beach vacations some of you are taking sound lovely!!
315 Bride, I'm with you on the summer list of projects. We have a clutter problem with the new baby now, and I couldn't do some things when pregnant that I wanted to do.
Both DH and I don't have our families here, so we spend most of our travel expenses on that. We are going to Wisconsin in August. I just bought the tickets. Supposedly they are cheaper in the beginning of the week. I did save about $100 a ticket! We'll go to DR in February or April, when DD is at least 6 months.
