Can we please talk about this?
I know a lot of you posted on FB about this....but seriously, not guilty?! WTF??!?! How can you be found guilty of lying to the police and then not guilty of anything else? You only lie when you're trying to hide something. She should have at least been found guilty of child abuse.
Ugh. This whole thing makes me sick and super mad.
Re: Can we please talk about this?
RIP Dr. Irving Fishman - 10/1/19-7/25/10 - thank you for holding on for me.
You made my wedding day complete.
and its that whole thing of "guilty beyond reasonable doubt". there apparently just was not enough evidence to convict her of it without some doubt still being there. maybe not doubt in everyones minds, but in the evidence. unfortunately, its how our system works. it keeps who are innocent out of jail for crimes they did not commit, but it also sometimes keeps people out who are clearly guilty.
not like her life is going to be normal ever anyways...she's been judged by the public and im sure by some higher power.

I love you, Daddy...2/24/1953 to 2/13/2011
Oh this makes me so mad.
I guess I could see where the jury doesn't want that kind of decision to way on them if they don't have crucial evidence proving she did it to place those charges.
But what about child neglect.. you don't report your child missing for 31 days and then she wasn't even the one to report, she had no panic in her voice. Just Me being a mother but I'd be freaking out, crying hysterically asking anyone and everyone! I really don't think that portrayal of her was caused by the media.. i think that's just what any normal mother would do.
I'm sad for Caylee, Cindy, George and Lee. God Bless them and wish them peace and happiness.
I'm not going to talk about it anymore, my DH is being a jerk and keeps saying "I told you so". it's really annoying.
I didn't really follow the case that much except for the small parts I saw on the news here and there. Honestly every time I heard something it was different and I couldn't follow the story. Nothing made sense to me. I do know though that my parents were in Orlando a few weeks ago and stayed at the same hotel the the jurors were and they told me they were watched like hawks. Police everywhere - all over the hotel. It was actually a pretty fancy hotel too. So they definitely didn't have exposure to the media, but I am sure they had to know the case they had was BIG - another OJ trial.
I am sure Barbara Walters will interview them all together and they will talk about their verdict. If I were one of the jurors I would not want people to know who I was - let me go on with my life!
