My dad is keeping Ella for a few hours on Sunday and Chase and I are going out for a late lunch/early dinner. Any restaurants you would suggest? I am not really looking for a chain and I don't want mexican food...but other than that I am open to just about anything. I am also open to suggestions on places to visit, I was thinking about the art museum but not too sure.
Re: Restaurant suggestions?
Mano's (Greek) downtown
Rosie's (Italian) on McCord
Sahara (Lebanese/Greek) on Dussel (it's a tiny little place but amazing food...)
Nick & Jimmy's (bar/burgers) in Waterville or on Monroe in Toledo
Chowders & Moor on Airport Hwy or there's one in Waterville on the AW trail - they have everything and their food is amazing (esp. the white chicken chili!)
And you could do Par 2 on Heatherdowns or there's a fun/tougher mini golf on 25 in Perrysburg... The museum would have been my first suggestion but they're only open until 6:00 on Sundays, unless you go there first and then do dinner after.
Manos is sooo good!!!
This is probably what we will do. I didn't really think about places closing early since it is Sunday. We can have a small lunch or a snack before we leave home.
I was also thinking about seeing a movie since we haven't done that in almost a year.
I can recommend tons of those, too... I think I've seen just about everything out right now, lol.
There are sooo many I want to see... I would like to see Bridesmaids, Bad Teacher, the new Pirates movie and the XMen movie that just came out. I think Horrible Bosses comes out this week too, that looks pretty good. Chase is fairly opposed to watching movies that are not rated R in the theater. I have yet to figure out why but that would eliminate a couple.
LOL, well I definitely recommend X-Men (it was awesome) and Bridesmaids for sure! I almost peed myself several times at Bridesmaids... haha. I'm seeing Bad Teacher tonight, but I think it looks pretty good. The new Transformers was really great, too!
