Dear kids,
Please nap today. I will not appreciate a repeat of yesterday's non-napping afternoon. You were both miserable last night, which tells me that you DO need your afternoon siesta.
And Shannon, if you're not going to nap, at least stay in your own room for a little quiet time. Calling downstairs to me and going in your brother's room just woke him up more rather than letting him settle down to sleep.
Naps are your friends... and mine!
