It's hard to believe it's Wednesday already, this week has been weird timing wise for me.
We went to pick up our kitchen tile last night, and discovered we could only bring half home in Derek's car. Who knew that 300 sq ft of tile would weigh 1400 lbs? Apparently not us! Anywho, Derek's going to pick the rest up today, which is SUPER exciting. Perhaps this kitchen will actually get done some day (which reminds me, I've got to fix my cabinet cut list spreadsheet).

I have tomorrow off so today is crazy busy for me at work. I am trying to get as many files completed as I can this morning so that I can focus on a project I have fallen behind on this afternoon. I wish I could not work and just get paid.
Tonight I have my eyebrow waxing (yay), and am going to IParty to pick up supplies for the boys birthday party.

Morning everyone. I woke up this morning with pink eye. Ewww. I get it when I'm stressed out and don't get enough sleep. So I will be working from home today and heading to the eye doctor at some point. Aside from that, not too much is really going on.

It was pretty nice to have an opportunity to sleep in today. Just getting ready to go have a shower.
Last night, I got to visit with my brothers and cousins and some of my Mom's cousin's at the funeral home. I did enjoy reminiscing about our adventures growing up with our Grandma babysitting us almost every weekend. My uncle and cousins seem to be holding up pretty well so far. They had a picture collage and when I saw a picture of my Mom with my aunts, I just broke down into tears. I miss her so much and it's still hard to see photos.
After the funeral, I'm hoping to get a run in and I might be going to an education dinner tonight. I'm going to play it by ear. I have already RSVPd but if timing doesn't work out or I don't feel like it, I'll just skip.
I'm pretty excited it's already Wednesday. I'm also sort of excited my boss didn't come in today. It could be kind of hectic, and some days she just makes it worse. It's really not like her to keep taking all this time off, so I hope everything is okay and she's not hiding something going on at home. I've know her for a while, so I worry.
Tonight will hopefully be some lounging and maybe starting True Blood. I'm curious to see what all the fuss is about. The disc should be in my mailbox today.
Last night we had a vet appointment for more blood work. Looks like the pup's platelet count is finally doing good, but her red blood cells are refusing to go up. We're waiting another week to see how things go. They did a bone marrow cytology, so they know the blood cells are in there and ready to come out. It's hopefully just a matter of time. She's also eating again, which is good. The vet is hoping the weekend was just a fluke. I'm keeping my fingers crossed as well.

The next few weeks will be busy at work, since I need time off in August for my brother's wedding and have to have everything done before I go. But I'm excited - his FI is a wonderful lady, and I'm really looking forward to the wedding.
It's supposed to rain this afternoon (please?).

I am tired. Last night I was supposed to work till 9 but, ended up being there till almost 11. This morning I start work at 7:10. So I am pretty beat. Really no plans for today, I may finally sit down and try and get a speech together for my sisters wedding. I get off early on Friday so that will be nice.
Other than that nothing really going on. I am really excited to have next week off!!!

DH and I didn't get home from the Twins game until late so went straight to bed.
Just a normal work day for me, I'm hoping it goes by quickly.
Tonight, I am headed to meet up with some girlfriends for dinner and then going to catch some live music in the park. Yesterday, I got a huge shipment of all of my stuff from my baby shower in Ohio. I'm excited to rip into it and show DH everything we got so I am hoping it isn't a late night tonight.

good morning! I've been kinda MIA lately, but lurking. we've been super busy with house and kittens. I took in a pretty sick little guy last week, so things have been extremely hectic around our house.
we made our first trip to IKEA last weekend and got SO MUCH STUFF. it's been fun redecorating and all that jazz.
I had someone on FB announce that they were pregs last night, so naturally, I said "congrats, I didn't even know you were trying!" to which she replied, "we weren't actively trying. I'm 4 weeks!" ugh. I'm really frustrated with TTC. I stopped temping and all that because it got stressful, but I'm thinking I may need to at least grab some OPK so that I know what's going on in there. =/
sorry, kinda selfish rant there, but today just isn't a good day.

Today is my first day back after my super long weekend. I'm tired and sunburned.
Hopefully the day will fly by. Tonight a have a million stops to make on the way home, piles of laundry to do, and hopefully I can get the lawn seeded before it rains. Thank goodness it's already Wednesday!

I'm so excited that the week is half over. I have two conference calls today, but it should be a quick day. There's not much else going on. I've got some house work to do tonight and I want to work on the knitting - I've started doing Christmas gifts.

This week has already been a stressful one. Yesterday we found out that my Grandma has cancer so the family has just been dealing with that. It's in her lymph nodes and it's secondary so they are trying to find out where it originated. She goes in for a mammogram and a bone scan today and tomorrow. So if you ladies have any spare vibes, they would be much appreciated!
On a brighter note, we may be able to find out if the bean is a boy or girl tonight. I'm excited and hope the little one cooperates with the scan. I also finally posted our news on fb yesterday. It makes me smile to see all the people that are happy for us.
I hope the rest of the week goes smooth, we are staying home instead of going out of town again so I'm hoping that we can relax a little with all the craziness going on lately.

Hi all! I've been waiting for this day for a long time. My presentations went really well both days and the client is very pleased. I still have a lot to do before Friday but I'm officially in the home stretch!

Mandee - sorry you're down about TTC. It can get stressful and frustrating but just hang in there and know that whatever you go through, the end result is totally worth it.
Charity - vibes for your grandma. Hope you get to find out the gender, just keep in mind that this early the boy and girl parts usually look the same and the most accurate results are closer to twenty weeks.
Today is day two back at work. I found out they are restructuring the department and I'm getting a promotion and pay increase which is great. However, I also found out they are hiring someone new at a much higher pay rate to do the same job as me. Once the new guy is officially hired I'm going to request a pay increase to match him and I have a feeling it's not going to go well. Anyway, today is just work and more things to unpack and do around the house. Hope you ladies have a great day.

I'm bitter today because it's supposed to hit 80 and I'm stuck in my office and DH is out learning how to golf and getting paid for it. Apparently you can't move up in the corporate world without knowing how to golf.

Afternoon, all. Another busy day over here--so much for resting (though I do plan on spending tomorrow watching Clueless and Mean Girls). Yesterday I managed to clean house, do laundry, make dinner, and go shopping. Today was an oil change for the car, mani/pedi appointment downtown, dentist visit and getting our rings cleaned. I'm beat, but I still need to go to the dry cleaners to get some pants hemmed and a dress taken in. Oof.
Tonight will be a low key one with a quick dinner and some reading.

I'm more just excited to get a few newer pics of the munchkin. I know it's super early to find out but my mom thought it would be fun. She's gone "grandma crazy"! My officialy anatomy scan is the 29th and that's when I'll start shopping like a mad woman. I'm just so impatient!
