Anyone do anything fun?

I went to Motley Crue, Poison and NY Dolls on Friday - it was AWESOME.

Saturday I finally went to the doctor about the cold I've had for 9+ days - turns out I had a nasty bacterial infection, so they prescribed me some meds. Afterward, H and I went to see Bad Teacher.

Sunday H worked and I went to a breakfast for my aunt that's moving back to Chi-town after 30 years. Then H and I went to a friend's graduation party; good times.

Monday H worked again and we went to my parents' house for dinner and then off to my BFF's mom's to watch fireworks and say goodbye. She flew out this morning and won't be back until December Crying

Hi! I am back from my "break". I have sorts kinda been staying away from thenest for the past month or so.

My weekend was great! DH and I are in Texas, visiting family. We have gone shopping, eaten our fave foods, celebrated my bday, watched fireworks.

Hope everyone else had a good weekend/ 4th!!

Nor- was Bad Teacher worth seeing? I wanted to see it but I heard it was bad and disjointed.

Let's see this weekend.. Friday night I worked. Saturday we bummed around. Sunday both H and I worked. Monday H worked until 3, we went out for BBQ and attempted to go see some fireworks, but they were rained out, so we came home. Borrrrrring.

Now I'm off to my 9-3am shift. I'm so, so dreading this, I'm already so sleepy!

This weekend we went to the IL's place on the Potomac River and I had to put up with SIL all weekend - it pretty much sucked. She is bar far the rudest person I have ever dealt with in my entire life. I love my FIL, BIL, and all of his cousins, aunts and uncles, but MIL and SIL are batsh!t crazy.

oh man did we have a packed weekend!

We had a mini vacation to Cape Cod last week for one night, so Friday we came home from that. We then met a friend and her bf from CA at a local vineyard for some wine.

Saturday, we had a family graduation party to celebrate my brother graduating from college, and two of my cousins graduating from high school.

Sunday, we had a baptism and a friend's BBQ.

Monday, we went to DH's parent's cottages on a lake, which was nice. It was the first time Pepper has been in water, and she can swim! We took her out on a paddle boat, and she was standing up tall, loving it, and all of a sudden, she jumped off! DH jumped off with her just in case, but she swam all the way in to shore. haha. We then watched some awesome fireworks, and headed home.

Tuesday was DH's birthday, and he was having a litle bit of a hard time with it, because he's always been able to take it off from work. He felt like 4th of July weekend was always his celebration, but I had to convince him that he's lucky it's taken him until 27 before he had to work on his bday haha.

Eh, it was ok. I LOVE Jason Segel and thought he was really good in it...but I'm not a big Cameron Diaz fan and I realized I only like Justin Timberlake's music (kind of) or when he's on SNL (don't tell Belle!). BUT I seem to remember us having different tastes in movies - so I think you might like it!

I'm sure that was really helpful! Stick out tongue
