I had an appt on Friday to get my hair cut w/ my hair dresser who lives in my hometown, and is a very good friend.
The bad news is: she cancelled
the good news: its because her water just broke, YAYYYYYYYY
but damnman I really need my hair cut. lol
eta: I really am very excited for her, and i'm not the last upset that I'm not getting my haircut... incase it came across that way.
Re: YAY & crap
I feel your pain. My doc just moved my appointment this Saturday, which pisses me off b/c (1) I wanted to get this done and over with, and (2) I've had to abstain from my meds all week to prep for it, which means I really have a crab in my pants. Blerg.
I guess the good news is that I can go to yoga this Saturday a.m. if I am not up/out too late on Friday.
Are you doing C25K? I thought you were at one point.
Yes, very very slowly. Tonight is a run night.
ETA: I try to do yoga every other Saturday - I find the breathing really helps with running.
Great! Does c25k go by minutes only? Or does it also use miles?
Do you like the program?
Uhm, and sorry for 20 questions. I recommend it, if someone asks, but I really don't know much about it, except that it's a good program for people to use to start running..and yes, i can google it, and read reviews but it's more fun to annoy you w/ questions
That made me lol.
Do you have a goal of doing a 5k or something? Or just to be able to say, I can run for X amount of minutes, suckas!
ETA: Sorry I'm nosy. I'm just interested in other people's running/fitness stuff I guess. I think it's cool to see people start running ( because I love it so much). I'm over the moon happy that DH has started running with me some. He doesn't love it, and only does it because he wants to be a LEO, but whatever, he's doing it.
lol..
DH has a nagging ankle thing too.. He broke his ankle in 05 and didn't do physical therapy so he has some issues with it..
Being healthy & happy is a great goal to have!
His doctor was a dumbazz and told him he didn't need it or didn't have to go.. wtf dude. he just sat on the couch for 2.5 months, what do you mean he doesn't need PT?
I know it's likely that he would still have issues even if he had gone to PT, but they might me of lesser intensity. Oh well. hindsights 20/20, and we had just started dating so I wasn't in a place to tell him, "Oh yes you are going to physical therapy."
I'm not positive, but I think my hairdresser colored her hair during her pregnancy. It was looking darn good @ her baby shower if she didn't.
I really think it's fine also (maybe not bleach but who uses bleach anymore?) but the first tri is so tricky, I didn't want to do anything that I would look back on and say "I wonder if I didn't do this...". Now my hair looks rough.
Oh no! I don't go to her regularly anymore since she is so far away. I only made an appt w/ her because I was going to be in town and I wanted to see her & her new salon, plus I love the way she cuts my hair.
I've only had my hair cut once since she stopped doing it. I found a girl, but it's just not the same..
