Wednesday Post

im so tired this morning.

worked late last night, didn't get in a run :(  but i did stay under my daily WW points!  i am really trying to jump start my diet again, so i have to stick with it like i did when i first started.  today i should be good too :)  LOTS of fruit this week!

mother fuckings birds started chirping outside of our window at 5:30 am.  could have killed it.

another busy day today, but i WILL be leaving by 4:15 so I can get in a good run before the evening.

happy humpday!

Re: Wednesday Post

  • Hey there!!!

We have bird problems too!  When we have the windows open, they are the kind that open out, and the birds sit right on the freakin window.  If we still lived in the country I'm sure J would be sitting there with his BB gun.  (Yes he did this out our livingroom window at our old house.  We were about 1 car up on cinder blocks away from being complete rednecks).

I'm having a soda this morning and it's glorious.

Got on the scale this morning and I'm down almost 2 lbs since I went to the Dr. on the 28th.  Yahoo!!!!!  I'm sure it's just fluids or something, but I'll take it!

Now, I'm going to try to get through this day without snapping at anyone.  I think everyone came back from the weekend as complete morons.  Made yesterday really hard!

  • I liked to say that I am embarressed to be living in the state of Florida.(Casey Anthony)  That being said I kinda agree/get with 1st degree murder. There was reasonable doubt. The child abuse.neglect charge?!?!? Um.. this I don't get. I'm sure on thursday she will be a free women. Not sure where she will live after accusing her father and brother of sexual abuse.

My other vent for the day is with motorcycle drivers. Not the responsible driver who obey the laws of the road. My beef is the one like this morning who are swerving and going probably 120 down the highway.

I think my vents for now are over.

Besides that I really have nothing going on. I'm glad it is hump day:)

I'm right there with you...we had a broken down Franken-truck in our yard for a while when it was K's pet project.  Was never so happy as when that went to the junkyard.

My days are mixed up this week.  I called a friend last night trying to make plans for Tuesday.  As in the day that was almost over.  Oy.  New renters are supposed to sign the lease in about 15 minutes...crossing my fingers that nothing else holds the process up.

Must house-clean bedroom before this week is out...trying to work up the motivation to get it done...

  • Boring night and couldn't take Wilson for a walk/jog because the leash was left in my car which Jeremy took to tennis so we played fetch in the backyard. I'll be glad when the dog park opens back tomorrow so he can run around with the other dogs.

I'm really hoping Jeremy cuts the grass today. No work for me today so I'll probably clean the bathrooms since I've asked for weeks and it's still not done. Headed to the gym at some point and then taking Wilson for a walk/jog tonight so he can let loose some energy.

  • Morning all.  I have a slow day at work and a million things to do at home, so I wish I could be there instead of here.  We really, really need to get our car inspected (emissions) before vacation, so I think I may take tomorrow off to do that, run errands, and possibly purchase some sunglasses at BR that I've been eyeing. Angel  They are so awesome, and I have a 35% off coupon that's only good in-store, on Thursdays.  A friend of mine and her sister are in town and bored, so it will also be a good excuse to hang out with them and give them something to do (the shopping, not the errands).  Is it awful to take the day off for this?  Jeff was supposed to take care of the car and he never did.  And I have a wax appointment that evening, so I was going to have to leave work semi-early, anyway.

Sigh.  I'm going stir-crazy, mentally running through my list of crap to get together for packing, and thinking about all of the laundry I need to wash, fold, and put away tonight.  Ugggghhhhhh.

  • Gah!  Stupid birds!  We have a problem with our neighbor's yippy dog.  She leaves for work at the asscrack of dawn every morning and leaves her windows open.  Her dog then sits up there and yips at everything that moves. SO irritating.

Laura - I think shopping and car inspection is a totally legit reason for a day off.  I say go for it!

I kinda feel this way too.  We've had the toilet from our half bath sitting on our front porch for 4 effing months b/c K still hasn't finished putting in the woodwork so that we can move it back inside.  I'm afraid one of these days our not-so-klassy neighbors is just going to sit down and use it...

  • When I see the word 'Wednesday' I say it in my head Wed- Nes- Day like how I remembered to spell it back in like 2nd grade or whenever you learn how to spell things.

I love chirpy birds in the a.m. call me crazy,

Toby's grandparents stayed with us last night as they were up for grandpa's heart appts. I love them but dang it I just spent 4 days with them. I really need a break from family at this point.

There is only 3 days left thank sweet baby turtle poop. I am so far behind on sleep I can't take it. My legs and arse hurt sooo bad thanks to a great Mount Everest hill in the run I did on the 4th. We are getting my babies finally tonight and I will be in bed by 8pm like last night. Yes I went to bed before E and Im perfectly ok with it.

  • lol@ all the birds.   I can't hear any birds from inside my house.  Kinda sad.  I like to hear the outdoor sounds.   Although...I did grow up with some pretty obnoxious birds that would flock and make an awful halfcrowing/hald dying sound at 5am each morning.  They were our national bird for some reason.  Everyone wanted to shoot them but it was illegal.

I'm doing good today.  So far, no bleeding so yay!

Laura, it's nice to have you back with us - temporarily.  :)  Until you're off on your lovely vacation

  • I also say Wed-nes-day in my head, but mostly now I call it Gwensday after my friend Gwen. hahaha

I have a black cloud over my head, I am a miserable fack today and was last night too. I have PMS, I'm annoyed by everyone and everything, I don't feel like exercising, and I want to eat 59 buckets of fried chicken, 27 pints of Ben & Jerry's Red Velvet, 40 bags of Frito's scoops with 9 chili pies, on and on you get the picture.

Last night - was too tired to run, and it was pretty hot so I cooked dinner and after that Dh and I took the dog to one of the middle schools so she could run like a banshee through the sprinklers Dog She lurved it. too bad I don't have a pic with me to show you. anyway today after work is some grocery shopping, hopefully a short 4 mile run with DH and dog and then dinner.

Would love if the next 80 minutes flies by quick so I can get the he-double hockey sticks outta here.
