Chic-Fil-A's Cow Appreciation Day

Just a reminder that Friday is Cow Appreciation Day (http://www.cowappreciationday.com/) and if you wear a cow costume you get a free meal or a partial costume, you get a free entree.  They have a print out on the link to tape onto your clothes.  We went last year with DD and it was a lot of fun.  I felt a little dorky, since our local restaurant is in the mall and not free-standing, but all in all, well worth it for an evening of cow sighting for DD and not having to cook dinner for me.

  • Have fun!  Wish we could go to CF, but they cook everything in peanut oil and with DD's nut allergy, we don't want to risk it.

They cook the fries in canola oil now. Not that I go there often enough to remember seeing that sign or anything...

  • yea no more peanut oil! My BFF who has a peanut allergy was super excited!
  • ours also has a sign that says something about no more peanut oil.....
