I can't believe it's so soon. May's isn't too far behind his.
We are having a low key party with my immediate family (DH's family is OOT and we will see them in late July) and a few friends. But, I am sooooo excited about the cute decorations that I found on etsy! We love watching Oswald on Nick Jr. You can't go wrong with a show about an octopus with a pet dachshund.
The decorations are going to be awesome. I don't have them yet, but the samples that she made up for me are perfect.
What are your first birthday plans?
What a fun theme!!!
We are doing low-key, too. Barring an October 1 blizzard (it's Iowa, who knows what the weather will be?) we will "book" the enclosed shelter up at the park in town. For my family it is about a 3 hour drive and it will have to be on a Sunday, but hopefully they will come. DH's family all lives within an hour (most within 10 minutes). Who is doing your decorations?
I haven't decided what to do for the theme. May sleeps with Cookie Monster, and is known at daycare as the cookie monster because she stole a boy's cookie when he wasn't looking, so I thought about doing that (there are these awesome cupcakes I want to make!). Then again, she loves monkeys, so I think about that as well...I still feel like it's far away, even though it's not!
