So, I started C25K yesterday. I'm really excited but nervous. How was week 5? That really seems like that's when it starts to get a little hairy. Right now week 5 seems overwhelming, but hopefully a)I make it that far and b)it seems more doable once I get there.
Yesterday was the first time I've ran in 2 years. It really made me giddy and I feel awesome today. Just some sore hip flexors, but I love battle scars!

Honestly, I thought week 4 was harder than 5...until today. I started week 5 last week but didn't get my runs in so I started it again this week. I did day 1 yesterday and day 2 today. It was super hard today but I think that's because I upped the speed as well as incline.
I get nervous looking at the weeks ahead but I'm amazed every time that I get a week done. I'll go in the gym and think, no, I can't do it. I need to repeat last week but I just decided to push myself and not think that way. Every week I get it done. So, you'll get there! I promise.
I freak out at weeks 8 and 9 where I"m running like 25 minutes. I've never run that long consecutively in my life!
Good luck - it does get easier. I promise!
