So it's been a little over a year since we got married and I'm finally getting around to ordering a photo album. I found a custom album that I absolutely LOVE (silk embossed cover, very simple design). I contacted the company and they only work with / sell them to professional photographers. DH ordered photos from our photographer which ended up being expensive and were not of the highest quality. Quite frankly we were disappointed (we love the pictures - just not the quality of the images we rec'd from her). I've looked on-line and have not been able to find anything similar that I could order myself (we have CDs of the images).
Do I suck it up, contact our photographer and ask that she order an album for us? Has anyone seen a custom album with a silk embossed cover and simple design that I could order? Any advice / help would be appreciated!
Re: Photo Album Question
If you hate your prints, try mpix.com. They're more expensive than other sites, but they're infinitely better quality.
I made my album (leather, with a center inset photo) on Black River Imaging. The software is a little bit frustrating at first, but when you get used to it, it goes quickly.

I have no idea if they have a silk album cover or not, but the albums we got are much better quality than your average photographer's.
Stand up for something you believe in.
