Don't bother with Baby Mama. DH and I love Tina Fey and Amy Poehler (and Romany Malco was in it... so I was at least happy that I could look at him), but it sucked pretty badly. There were a FEW funny moments-- but I definitely wouldn't watch it again.

Re: Movie non-recommendation
Add to that list:
27 Dresses, unless you enjoy watching the plight of a doormat.
See I thought that Baby Mama looked funny, if simply for Tina and Amy.
I liked 27 Dresses, but a lot of it was the excitement of seeing my HS friend on the big screen.
I've watched 27 Dresses twice ::hangs head in shame::
But yeah, she is a major doormat. I think I have a soft spot in my heart for any movie that is wedding related

I can't wait for the "im getting a divorce" post in 5 years or so because your husbands were fed up with your disgusting chair asses from playing on the knot all day and getting fired 4-5 times for not doing any work. you guys are all winners!! ~ Laur929

I thought it would be funnier, i just wanted to scream at her to say NO for once! but i enjoyed James Marsden a lot. he's easy on the eyes.
i'm just glad i didn't rent it like i had originally wanted. I am still kicking myself for wasting $4.95 on SATC. AND they are making a sequel. middle-aged hoars unite!
LS, i'd be excited for that also.
She had a small role. Her part was in the beginning. She was the bride in the Jewish wedding (one of the 2 that Katherine Heigel was running back and forth between).
Her character's name was Shari Rabinowitz, and she was PERFECT for that role. I'm so glad she's making it as an actress - I think that's awesome.

Yeah, that's my friend Erin. She actually just got engaged.
I should go buy it on DVD and then meet up with her next time I'm in the city and make her sign it! Ha!
I liked both 27 dresses and SATC. But I like some of the girly stuff like that every once in awhile. It's a nice break from FI's stupid, crude humor shows/movies we watch.
It took me a minute to figure out how to reply.
Indiana Jones Kingdom of the Crystal Skull
AP: Wait, what was that?
TF: I think she just told you to rub olive oil on your taint
AP: Can't we just shoot a little Pam up there and call it good?
Come on, THAT was funny
That was awesome. Now we joke about rubbing olive oil on each other taints at our house!
