FFS.  Loans for breast augmentation?  No child support but can have french mani acrylic nails?  Man oh man.  Hope K's generation isn't like this.

Re: teen mom...

  • What about the oompa loompa orange coloring?

DH and I couldn't get over that she wrote "here for boobs" on the doctor form.

That too.  I think the best part of the episode is when the meds kicked and she passed out from anestheia.  And how dare she be so mean to her step dad when he picked her up and watched her kid from an elective boob job.  seriously.

  • what  I don't understand that all of the girls cry poverty yet they're making a pretty penny from the show...

and they've been on what, 3 or  4 seasons so far? Don't they have access to this money?

  • Macy and Farrah have new cars. Yet Caitlin lives in a trailer nothing makes sense other than young girls having sex and making babies.

I graduated high school in 2006. At my graduation, 3 girls were pregnant. It really makes me scared for when I have a kid and they graduate high school.

  • We had a "daycare" in our high school - in reality, it was a vo-tech program for early childhood education, and if you had a child, you could keep them there pending grades, attendance, etc. In reality, we had a lot of pregnant girls in high school.   I graduated in 2000.
  • Surprisingly we had 1-2 kids get pregnant in HS.

Back in 85 my birthmom was 15 when she got pregnant and had me.  And I thank god every day I was adopted.

  • I graduated in 2000 only one girl had had a kid during the whole 4 years I was there. But the catholic school girls I was friends with (they attended public school until high school) were all knocked up. And most of them had trashy boyfriends with no jobs and came from no money. No one gave up their kids for adoption and almost 11 years later most of the teen moms are still struggling to get it together!

  • technically if this show was around back then my mom could have been on it. She had turned 17 just 2 months before giving birth to me. My grandparents took a huge part in raising me but my Mom was always always there for me & i wouldn't want it any other way. Not saying i would have wanted to get pg so young or that i would ever want A too but i like that my mom is not soo far in age from me. We're close now & its nice <3
