Camcorder (beating a dead horse sorry) edited for price
I know I've asked this before when I was going to buy my bosses JVC but did not get much response so figured what the heck I will bug you guys one more time.
Can anyone rec their camcorder falling under $300?? We keep putting this off but know really want to pick one up soon.
*Summer* you know I just kind of pulled that number from the one I was looking at before. In all seriousness it might be total garbage because we know nothing about camcorders. We just want something durable we can use to take video's of the kid.
Re: Camcorder (beating a dead horse sorry) edited for price
I don't remember this ever being asked before.
Ours was not under $200 and I'll be interested in see recs for one that is! What about a Flip, I know they don't make them anymore or something so maybe you'll get it on the cheap?
We were thisclose to getting a Flip but I was getting a new cell phone and Nick (techno-nerd) said that the camera on my DroidX would be better/just as good as that so we could just use that for the short videos we take. We do have a normal camcorder but its at my moms since she's with him during the day.
D got me a Flip for my birthday. I love it! It takes great videos, and we keep it in a pocket in our diaper bag so it's always with us. I also love the fact that the USB is attached to it, because I lose cables like it's my job. I dont know where the one for my camera is... so all pictures have to be taken via ipod or cell.
But yeah, I love my flip. I have an old school video camera also, like OLD school, super clunky uses those tiny cassettes... lol. I love it, but I find that one is great for my horse, etc.
OH! The other think I like about the flip is that I can zoom in and out while it's recording, my phone and ipod don't do that. I really appreciate that feature.
