Who is your Internet provider?
If it's uverse I don't want to hear about it as we can't get it. We want to get rid of comcast because they suck big fat donkey balls. Our Internet has been out for a week and they are saying they can't do jack crap till Monday.
Re: Who is your Internet provider?
AT&T has non-Uverse internet still, right?
They do and that's who I used before Uverse came out of the sky like manna.
I'm surprised you still can't get it.
We have AT&T--not Uverse--without a home phone line. (We only have our cells for our voice services).
We've been with AT&T for 3 years, and we have a service issue about once every 6 months. Usually resolved within 2 days, but the phone line customer service tends to be absolutely incompetent. We pay...$15/month...maybe $20 for the slowest DSL speed. We have to call every year because its an introductory rate and they try to raise it--we then threaten to leave and they give us another year at the introductory rate.

So Tasty, So Yummy
Do you get the Verizon TV service up there? Our friends have that and man...I loved it.
We're stuck with Comcast too but I've never had issues with our internet...ever.
Is the On Demand not working on just one tv or all tvs? Have they sent out a technician to your house?
We had a problem when they switched to the new guides and our On Demand would not work on any of our tvs and I had switched out the box several times. I finally got a technician to come out and it was a back end problem but the only way to fix it is for a tech to come out and then he has to call a certain office to get the problem fixed. Basically they have to uncheck something on a computer somewhere.
It is available, but we actually have Dish for TV and Verizon for home phone and internet. It just worked out cheaper that way, oddly. When I mention U-Verse to people up here, they look at me like I've sprouted a second head. Wish we could get that.
ditto - i have comcast...HATE the cable tv. Couldnt do without their internet. For the price & speed, we stick with them. DH does call every 6 months and get our rate lowered to whatever offer they have going at the time tho.
Nope. We have non-uverse without a home phone line.
We have their fastest package and DH plays WoW, we stream movies, and I surf the internet with no problems.
It appears to be just that 1 tv. Unfortunately, I don't have a single day off in the next few weeks to even have a technician come out to check it. I think it will be on the honey do list for DH when he gets home from work.
