Re: WTF Wednesday
A HUGE WTF?!?!?
Bonnie, I might be in the minority here, but I'm not shocked about it. As I said on another board, the prosecution didn't present a solid case. Circumstantial evidence. The reasonable doubt was there in several ways. Whether or not I *think* she's guilty, the prosecution wasn't good enough.
There was a person getting interviewed last night and he said something along the lines of, "If you take all of the emotion out of the trial, the evidence just wasn't there."
I guess I think people should be upset with the prosecution for not doing a good enough job with their case.
Totally agree! My dad is a retired cop and we were just discussing this the other day. He knew she wouldn't get convicted of murder because of the lack of evidence, so I am definitely not shocked...it just sucks tho'. There should be some type of justice for that poor, little girl...so sad.
Visited the in laws this weekend. FIL came down in the morning in just his boxer shorts and proceeded to get on the rug and crawl around with the baby. FIL is not a small man. W.T.F.
And I'll jump on the bandwagon of not being surprised by the Casey Anthony verdict, but heartbroken for that poor little girl.
I completely agree, Amy.
Sorry, I'm a day late on this one...
Somebody tossed this adorable little kitten from a moving car on the Verrazano Bridge. WTF?!
I'm just glad somebody was able to rescue it.
I believe there is special level of hell for people who do stuff like this. WTF, indeed.
I agree with Amy. This whole case was based on emotions. And it was very emotional. But I don't understand how it came to trial in the first place. The prosecutor and the ME couldn't establish a cause of death. They couldn't even say for certain that the poor little girl had been murdered or if it was an accident. No matter what my or anyone's personal beliefs are, if you can't even say that someone was murdered, how can try a person for a murder?
The whole thing is just really sad.
My own personal WTF is about my crazy ass kid.
1) He keeps flipping his peenyweeny up while he is peeing so he can see where the pee comes from. And then the inevitable pee shower happens. Dude, WTF?!!!! Stop it!! You have already seen where it comes from the first time you pulled the stunt, now stop!!
2) LooneyBoy now likes to drop his drawers and run around the house bending over, spreading his cheeks and saying, "Wanna see my Sunshine?" Total WTF?!!
Diapers were just so much safer.
OMG this had me dying laughing. But also sad because this is what I have to look forward to...
