Tourist Activities W/Out a Lot of Walking
The inlaws are coming into town this weekend for our baby shower. We'd like to do something with them besides just letting them sit on the couch, but FIL has a heart condition and can't walk for extended periods of time or long distances. We're already going to a Nats game.
Any other activities available this weekend that don't require a lot of walking?
Bonus if they would be of interest to a 10 year old boy because they will have our nephew with them.

Re: Tourist Activities W/Out a Lot of Walking
We make the rockin' world go 'round.
THe on/off bus tour of DC. They can get on and off whereever they like.
Also, DC DUCK tour - http://www.allwashingtondctours.com/Body.asp?tour=WAS-DUK01&page=TourDetails&pref=02&aid=ltg1171&gclid=CIHG4_a676kCFSI55Qod-TZYaA
bonus is it splashes into the Potomac!
Ditto - I think this would be perfect!
DC Ducks might be good, because you don't have the option to get off. That way, the 10-year-old can't keep begging to get off at places (if he's the type to do that).
Would your FIL be okay with just grabbing a seat somewhere if you're doing an activity that tires him? If that's the case, any of the Smithsonians might work because he could get a drink or snack in the cafe while y'all wander around. That's what my FIL does any time we go somewhere that has a lot of walking - he does as much as he can, then just goes and waits.
